    Remote sensing for Mapping TSM concentration in Mahakam Delta: an analytical approach

    The Indonesian coastal zones have always been under heavy pressures, including those from fisheries, oil industries and sea transportation. The presence of these activities carry a large portion of risk in damaging the environment as well as in destroying the marine resources, leading to the need for an integrated management approach based on an environmental information system that is comprehensive and multi-disciplinary in nature. The Mahakam Delta has the same general problems as other coastal regions in Indonesia. The method is based on bio optical modeling. The forward water analysis comprised the laboratory measurements of water quality (TSM and Chl) and Inherent Optical Properties (IOPs) to derive Spesific Inherent Optical properties (SIOPs). SIOPs (of water, TSM, Chl and CDOM), coefficient f and B were used to developed R(0-) model. The inverse atmosphere analysis comprised the image preprocessing (i.e. geometric correction, atmospheric correction, air-water interface correction). The last step is inverse water analysis, which comprised the development of algorithm and image processing to develop TSM concentration maps. The spectrometer measurements collected in the field were used for obtaining the subsurface irradiance reflectance. The subsurface irradiance reflectance R(0-) is the ratio of upwelling (Ewu) and downwelling irradiance (Ewd) just beneath the water surface. There are some discrepancies from matching R(0-) model and R(0-) measured in the field, especially in the blue region and NIR region. The reason of the discrepancies could be due to the fact that the Q factor (the angular distribution factor of spectral radiance) is still not understood completely. This model is very susceptible to the decrease of the proportional factor f, and to the increase of the backscattering probability B. The results indicates that red band of satellite sensor is sensitive to detect higher TSM concentration. For Mahakam Delta, red band algorithm was used to derive TSM map, since higher TSM concentration occurred in the delta

    Intisari - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui dan menerapkan tindakan yang sesuai untuk mereduksi penyebab cacat yang terjadi serta mengetahui faktor utama penyebab kecacatan produk pakan ikan PERKASA/ALFA (α) yang diproduksi dan memberikan solusi perbaikan untuk mengurangi jumlah cacat pada produk pakan ikan PERKASA/ALFA (α) yang diproduksi oleh CV. Mentari Nusantara Feedmill. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah peneltian berupa implementasi. Untuk dapat melakukan penelitian ini maka metode yang digunakan adalah six sigma dengan siklus DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) dan empat tools of quality yang terdiri dari histogram, diagram Pareto, diagram Ishikawa dan control chart. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan maka didapatkan bahwa penyebab utama cacat produk pakan ikan PERKASA / ALFA (α) berasal dari faktor manusia dengan nilai risk priority number sebesar 294 sehingga fokus perbaikan ditekankan pada manusia pada tahun awal yang juga diikuti oleh perbaikan terhadap faktor mesin, metode, material dan lingkungan namun dengan proporsi yang lebih kecil dari manusia hingga pada akhirnya pada range waktu kurang lebih 5 tahun perusahaan sudah dapat mencapai perbaikan 6 sigma, mengingat saat ini perusahaan masih terdapat pada 3,12 sigma. Mentari Nusantara Feedmill . This type of research is in the form of a study of implementation. To be able to do this research, using six sigma methods with DMAIC cycle and four tools of quality that consists of histogram, Pareto diagram, Ishikawa diagram and control chart. Based on the research that has been done, there are founded the main causes of disability of product fish feed PERKASA / ALFA (α) come from human resource factor with the value of risk priority number 294, so the focus of improvement is emphasized on human resource in the first year that followed by improvement in engine, methods, materials and environment but the proportion of these four is lower that the human resource until the term of approximately 5 years improvements, company will have reach improvement of six sigma, reminded that the current position of company today on production process is still on 3,12 sigma.     PENERAPAN SIKLUS PDCA PADA CV. DELIMA DENGAN ALAT BANTU SEVEN TOOLS

    Based on the observation, it can be seen that the problem being faced by CV. Delima is the number of defective products that were produced during the production process of marie wijen Sriti in August 2017 has 13.53% of defective products, while the company has a defective tolerance limit of 10%. And the absence of clear working standards that cause the range of disability too far. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the use of PDCA quality control with the seven tools can minimize the production defects in the CV. Delima.Quality control analysis uses PDCA with seventools, capability process, and FMEA. The tools will be used to find the production process error and also fix it so that the defect can decrease at CV. Delima. The results of capability process analysis show that the production process run by CV. Delima is not good and also the control chart shows that the company's production activities are out of control. Can be seen on the control chart there are several points that exceeds the upper and lower limits. From the analysis of cause-effect diagrams, it can be seen that the factors causing defects in products come from human factors, materials, methods, and machinery so that companies can take corrective action to overcome these problems. The results showed that the problem of production process in CV. Delima can be repaired and can minimize the production defects by using PDCA approach with seven tools tool. In addition, the percentage of marie wijen Sriti's production defects percentage decreased by 6.47%
